Adam served on the investment team of Alliance Fund I, and will do so again for Alliance Fund II. Adam is a managing director at New Energy Capital and has executed numerous transactions for NEC in the electricity, biofuels, and infrastructure sectors, while serving as an officer of its project entities. While at NEC, Adam was selected by the Federal Department of Energy to independently review Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy stimulus grant applications, and his economic research has been published in industry journals.
Adam’s previous experience includes managing project finance analysis for over 2,000 megawatts of power generation at FPL Energy (currently NextEra Energy), with a focus on tax credit structuring and portfolio syndications. Before FPL, Adam held positions at J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and GE Capital. Adam is a CFA Charterholder and is a graduate of Dartmouth College (MBA with Distinction, MS engineering) and Emory University (BBA with Distinction).
