Scott served on the senior investment team of Alliance Fund I, and will do so again for Alliance Fund II. Scott and his team at New Energy Capital in New Hampshire and Massachusetts are responsible for investment sourcing, analysis, structuring and oversight of investments for AF II. Scott is the founder, CEO and managing partner of New Energy Capital. He has extensive experience in energy infrastructure, renewable energy and biofuels.
Previously, Scott was president and CEO of Glasstech Solar, Inc. and an executive vice president of Solar Cells, Inc., which would later become First Solar, Inc. From 1998-2005, Scott was a member of the National Advisory Council of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and is the founder of the Clean Development Group, Inc. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College (BA) and Harvard Law School (JD).
