Responsibilities
As Chief Financial Officer at North Sky Capital, Angie is responsible for all financial reporting for the firm’s investment funds and financial operations. She is part of North Sky’s senior management team and is actively involved in strategic planning, fund development and staffing decisions.
Career Background
● Chief Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Sawtooth Solutions: Angie oversaw all financial and treasury functions for Sawtooth, as well as all Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) compliance. She was a member of Compliance Committee (Chair), Investment Committee and Information Security Committee. ● Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Compliance Officer, Mill City Capital: Angie managed financial, treasury, administrative and human resource functions for MCC’s management company in addition to managing all financial and treasury functions for MCC’s private funds. ● Senior Tax Manager, Baker Tilly US, LLP: Angie managed multiple flow-through entity clients and client groups including: private equity funds, venture capital entities, fund of funds, real estate partnerships, alternative investment entities and family investment partnerships along with high net worth and family group client engagements.
Personal Background
Angie earned her bachelor of accounting (magna cum laude) and bachelor of science in mathematics and statistics (actuarial science) from University of Minnesota Duluth. She is also a CPA (inactive).
