Responsibilities
As a Managing Director at North Sky Capital, Danny is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, executing and monitoring the firm’s investments. He is part of North Sky’s senior management team and is actively involved in strategic planning, fund development and staffing decisions. Danny also serves as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Career Background
● Vice President, Piper Jaffray Ventures (now Sightline Partners): Danny focused on direct investments and served on the boards of directors for several Piper Jaffray Ventures portfolio companies. He was also an associate on Piper Jaffray’s investment banking team. ● Vice President, Deephaven Capital Management: Danny was a medical technology analyst for the multi-strategy hedge fund.
Personal Background
Danny earned his bachelor’s degree in finance, investment and banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
