As a Senior Advisor, Denise works collaboratively with North Sky’s management team to oversee the firm’s operations, compliance and finance functions, and provide advice on strategic decisions.
Career Background
● Chief Financial Officer, North Sky Capital: As Chief Financial Officer at North Sky Capital, Denise was responsible for all financial reporting for the firm’s investment funds and financial operations. She served as a member of North Sky’s senior management team and was actively involved in strategic planning, fund development and staffing decisions ● Finance Manager, Piper Jaffray: Denise held various finance roles at Piper Jaffray, including managing the financial reporting and operations of the private equity group. ● Denise also advanced along a series of senior financial divisions at Jostens and Carlson Companies.
Personal Background
Denise earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State University and has an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. She is also a CPA (inactive).
